Our Story
Bushiwck Bark is a local female-owned pet shop serving our local community for over 10 years, We offer healthy pet food & supplies, catering to both cats and dogs in addition to offering Grooming services at our Knickerbocker Ave location
With a passion for animal welfare and rescue, owner Dottie Evans strives to serve as a community resource for all animals, especially when raising awareness regarding the urgent need to rescue, foster and donate to local rescue groups. In addition to hosting many cat and dog adoption events, Dottie also hosts a number of Fundraiser Parties each year, for which proceeds are always donated to local rescue organizations.

We only hire people who have a genuine love for animals so you know your pet is always in loving hands at Bushwick Bark. Our knowledgeable staff is here 7 days a week to help with all of your pet-related needs, so do not hesitate to come in and ask any questions you may have!

One-On-One Grooming
Bushwick Bark offers intimate One-on-One grooming services for your furry friends. Only one groomer will be working with your pet during your appointment from beginning to end.

Self- Serve Dog Wash
For those who prefer to bond with their pets during bath time, we offer a Self-Service Dog Wash for just $16. You can use the self-serve shower, which includes: aprons, towels, brushes, a blow dryer, shampoo, and conditioner. No need to make an appointment for the self-serve wash, it's just a walk-in service!

Safe Drying
Our KNICKERBOCKER location offers full-service grooming for both dogs and cats, by appointment only. We pride ourselves in providing loving and individualized service to your pet alone, which is why we only have ONE groomer working on only ONE pet at a time. We are not a grooming factory, and you will never find multiple pets being groomed at the same time at Bushwick Bark. We believe that individual attention should be given to each animal, in order to provide a safe and calm environment where your pet can feel happy and comfortable while in our care. We also do not prefer to crate your loved ones if possible, which is why we request that you pick your pet up when their groom is finished. We will always call you 15 minutes before they are ready for pickup.
